The studio opens up 15 minutes prior to the start of each in-studio class (instruction based and open practice)
-
Late Arrivals to classes and open practices are NOT Allowed. We DO NOT PROVIDE A GRACE PERIOD. If you arrive at the studio door and it is LOCKED (the studio only opens up 15 minutes before the start of each class) that means you are LATE (even by 1 minute) and the class/open practice has already started. Unfortunately, you will NOT be allowed into class! No exceptions! For private events (lessons, rentals, classes, and parties) you can arrive anytime during your booking time. However your booking time will not be extended if you are running late.
This policy is in place to ensure the best experience and safety for everyone. Here’s why it’s important:
1. Warm-Up: The initial warm-up is crucial to prepare your body for the workout, helping to prevent injuries.
2. Disruption-Free Environment: Arriving late can disrupt the class and affect the focus and flow for both the instructor and fellow participants.
3. Safety: Missing important instructions or demonstrations can increase the risk of performing exercises incorrectly and getting injured. Additionally, we lock the door once the class starts to ensure that only those who are registered for the class are in the studio, keeping out unwelcomed guests and enhancing everyone’s safety.
4. Respect for Everyone’s Time: Starting and ending the class on time shows respect for everyone’s schedule, including the instructor’s and other participants’.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. Please ensure you arrive on time to enjoy the full benefits of the class.

If you’re traveling to our studio by car, PLEASE allow extra time to search for parking. There is LIMITED street, lot, and garage parking surrounding the studio. We understand that parking in DC can be frustrating however if you arrive late even by one minute as a result of your inability to find parking, your class reservation will be canceled (cancellation not applicable to studio rentals, private lessons, classes, and/or parties - however, your booking time WILL NOT BE EXTENDED). We’re fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the city so you will find that parking spaces are always opening up very close to the studio. Keep circling the area between 13th/15th St NW and Rhode Island Ave/Massachusetts Ave NW to find parking.
