What level should I start with?
If you are NEW to Pole Pressure we ALWAYS recommend starting with our beginner classes. However, if you have prior experience please review our class levels to determine where you should start!

Pole Dancing
✓ Beginner - No experience or upper body strength needed. Excited to start your pole journey. Revisiting the basics. No inverting. No climbing more than one body length up the pole. No spin pole.
✓ Advanced Beginner - Understand how to move and groove around the base of the pole using basic beginner movements. Comfortable lifting both feet off the ground when both hands are on the pole. Able to hold your body weight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down. Inverting - must maintain 3 points of contact, No aerial inverting and Ayeshas/handsprings. No restrictions on climbing and use of spin pole.
✓ Intermediate - VERY comfortable inverting up the pole from the ground. Confidently climb all the way to the top of the pole multiple times in a row. Solid foundation in flow and movement around the base of the pole and floor. Inverting - must maintain 3 points of contact. Aerial inverting allowed. No Ayeshas/handsprings. No restrictions on climbing and use of spin pole.
✓ Intermediate/Advanced - Proficient in inverting from the ground and climbing to the top of the pole multiple times in a row. Strong flow and movement skills around the base of the pole and floor. No movement restrictions.
✓ Advanced - Very proficient inverting from the ground, climbing to the top of the pole multiple times in a row, and have strong flow and movement skills around the base of the pole and floor. Proficient in stringing together spins and inverted combos. Comfortable inverting from the air. Developing comfort with inverted movements using two (2) points of contact (e.g., Ayeshas/handsprings) with the pole. *No movement restrictions
Aerial Hoop
✓ Beginner - No experience or upper body strength needed. Excited to start your hoop journey. Revisiting the basics. No knee/hand releases, top of hoop movements-except hand and foot taps, roll, and orbits.
✓ Advanced Beginner - Understanding how to move and groove around the hoop using basic beginner movements. Comfortable mounting the hoop with stability from at least one entry point. Able to hold body weight to the side of the hoop for a few seconds without sliding down.CLIENTS who are comfort. No restrictions to knee/hand releases, roll, and/or orbits. Top of the hoop movements allowed. No inverting on spanset.
✓ Intermediate - Understanding of how to move and groove around the hoop. Very comfortable mounting the hoop with stability from at least two entry points. No movement restrictions
GROUNDED MOVEMENT
✓ Active Flexibility - Anyone! No prior experience needed. You want to focus solely on flexibility conditioning.
✓ Handstand - Anyone! No prior experience needed. You want to focus solely on being upside down withOUT an apparatus.

Pole Dancing is the heart and foundation of Pole Pressure. We offer a wide variety of classes designed for the pole newbie to the advanced trixter. Whether you're looking for a sensual, flow, conditioning, and/or a sexy flexy pole classes, we’ve got you covered! Each class will include conditioning, specific instruction on particular movements, and pulled together into combo/routine..

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ You’re brand new to pole—no prior experience or upper body strength needed.

✅ You have previous pole experience from another studio or are self-taught but want to revisit the basics.
Class Focus:
- Developing confidence and strength in holding body weight up on the pole.
- Developing an understanding of flow and movement around the base of the pole and floor.
- Training exclusively on static pole, staying within one body length up the pole—no spin pole will be used in this class.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session is designed to help you build strength, refine technique, and grow your confidence in movement. You’ll work on foundational pole skills that cultivate body awareness, coordination, and fluidity, ensuring a strong base for progression. Whether you’re brand new or refining your fundamentals, this class will challenge and support you on your journey.

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ You’re brand new to pole—no prior experience or upper body strength needed.
✅ You have prior experience (from another studio or self-taught) but want to refine your fundamentals.
✅ You’re interested in developing movement quality, musicality, and performance skills with a focus on choreography.
Class Focus:
- Developing confidence and strength in holding body weight on the pole while building choreography and performance skills.
- Learning flow and movement around the base of the pole through sensual choreography that integrates floorwork, beginner pole tricks, and spins—training exclusively on static pole, staying within one body length (no spin pole will be used).
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every class is designed to help you build strength, refine technique, and grow confidence in movement. Through foundational pole skills and choreography, you’ll develop body awareness, coordination, and fluidity, ensuring a strong base for progression. Whether you’re new or refining your fundamentals, this class will challenge and support you on your journey.

👠 Heels are not required but recommended—if worn, they must have an ankle strap and rubber soles. -

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ You have prior relevant pole experience from another studio or are self-taught—this cannot be your first pole class.
✅ You have reviewed our Beginner class "This class is for you if" section, as this class builds upon those skills.
✅ You understand how to move and groove around the base of the pole using basic beginner movements.
✅ You are comfortable lifting both feet off the ground when both hands are on the pole.
✅ You can hold your body weight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down.
Class Focus:
- Increasing confidence and strength in holding body weight up on the pole.
- Enhancing flow and movement around the base of the pole and floor.
- Developing consistency with climbing and inverting from the ground ONLY (no aerial inverting, ayeshas, and/or handsprings) ensuring at least three (3) points of contact in all inverted movements, including transitions.
- Developing refined spin passes on both spin and static pole.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session is designed to challenge students, build strength, and refine technique—helping to bridge the gap between beginner and intermediate levels while increasing consistency and confidence in movement.

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ You have prior relevant pole experience from another studio or are self-taught—this cannot be your first pole class.
✅ You have reviewed our Beginner class "Who Should Sign Up" section, as this class builds upon those skills.
✅ You want to focus solely on conditioning and strengthening techniques from all levels perspective beginning with Advanced Beginner movements and progressing up to Advanced. It’s ok if you can’t do all the movements on each level, just focus on where you are currently at in your pole journey.
✅ You understand how to move and groove around the base of the pole using basic beginner movements.
✅ You are comfortable lifting both feet off the ground when both hands are on the pole.
✅ You can hold your body weight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down.
Class Focus:
- The first portion of class is all about getting firm—focusing on conditioning and strengthening techniques across all levels, starting with Advanced Beginner movements and progressing to Advanced. No worries if you can’t do every move at each level—just work from where you are in your pole journey and build from there.
- The second portion shifts to getting flexy—incorporating mobility and flexibility drills to enhance your pole and hoop practice.
Each class will have a specific movement focus for both strength and flexibility. Designed to challenge students, build strength, and refine technique, this class will help you develop greater consistency and confidence in your movements.

✅ A focus on choreography, refining movement quality, musicality, and performance skills.
✅ You understand how to move and groove around the base of the pole using basic beginner movements.✅ You are comfortable lifting both feet off the ground when both hands are on the pole.
✅ You can hold your body weight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down.
Class Focus:
🔥 Deepening connection to choreography and performance while increasing confidence and strength in holding body weight on the pole through sensual and erotic movement.
🔥 Expanding movement vocabulary with dynamic sensual choreography that integrates floorwork, pole tricks, and spins (on both spin and static).
🔥 Developing consistency in climbing and inverting from the ground, maintaining at least three (3) points of contact in all inverted movements and transitions to execute longer routines with control and grace.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, each session challenges you to build strength, refine technique, and develop consistency and confidence in movement. You’ll learn to interpret and perform choreography with intention and precision, bridging the gap between beginner and intermediate levels.

✅ You have a solid foundation in flow and movement around the base of the pole and floor.Class Focus:
- Mastering inverting while maintaining at least three (3) points of contact with the pole (both from the ground and aerially).
- Developing complex spin passes on both spin and static pole.
- Refining climbing technique for better control and endurance.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session is designed to challenge you, build strength, and refine movement, ensuring steady progress and increased confidence.

- Learn multiple dance and pole styles to fully explore the true fusion of pole and dance.
- Master choreography and the art of musicality.
- Expand your movement vocabulary while building dance endurance.
- Increase consistency with advanced and complex gymnastic movements, spins (on both spin and static), and inverted transitions on the pole and floor.
- Enhance proficiency in inversions (both grounded and aerial).
- Develop stronger climbs from various grips and mounts.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session will challenge you to interpret, learn, and perform longer dance sequences and choreography, refine advanced techniques, and build endurance. Ultimately, you'll leave stronger, more controlled, and more confident in high-level movements.

GROUNDED MOVEMENT
Your main apparatus is the floor! These classes are a great complement to your pole and aerial hoop training to achieve those amazing moves.

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ Anyone! No prior experience needed.
✅ You want to focus solely on flexibility conditioning.
Class Focus:
- Enhance overall body mobility and flexibility for pole and hoop practice.
- Building strength, stability, and flexibility in various areas, including backbends, square and middle splits, and inversions such as headstands, forearm stands, and handstands.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session is designed to challenge you, build strength, and refine your flexibility technique—ensuring your joints are safely supported through their full range of motion in every movement. Get ready to feel the burn!

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ Anyone! No prior experience needed.
✅ You want to focus solely on being upside down with OUT an apparatus.
Class Focus:
- Develop strength and confidence in hand balancing.
- Enhance overall body mobility and flexibility for pole and hoop practice.
- Incorporate conditioning exercises specifically designed to improve handstands, including core and flexibility training, as well as cartwheels and other acrobatic floor and pole work.
- Practice handstand drills and other acrobatic skills to refine technique and control.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session is designed to challenge you with various techniques and exercises to enhance your handstands—both on and off the pole. You'll build strength and refine your control through a full range of motion in every movement. Get ready to balance, control, and elevate your handstand practice

Who Should Sign Up:
✅ You have pole and hoop experience (from another studio or self-taught). This is NOT recommended for a first time experience.
✅ You prefer to practice independently without formal instruction.
✅ You want your own apparatus to fine-tune your skills.
Class Focus:
🔹 This is a self-guided session in our studio (ceiling height approximately 10-11ft).
🔹 The studio will only have poles and hoops set up (please select your spot for practice), mats, and blocks available to train on.
🔹 Mats and blocks are available for training.
🔹 A speaker to play your music is available for use.
This is a great opportunity to focus on your personal practice—come prepared and ready to move!
