Kristen has always enjoyed being upside down and learning to move her body in new and creative ways. She spent her younger years as a competitive gymnast and coach. While gymnastics has built the foundation of her movements and training, she has also spent time learning and practicing yoga, acro yoga, aerial silks, belly dancing, and other forms of exercise and dance. Kristen began her pole journey when she moved to DC during the pandemic in 2020. She immediately found a passion for the classes and community at Pole Pressure. She loves the way pole can boost your confidence and is always surprised by what you can accomplish with practice and dedication.
