When did you start your pole journey?
August 2012

Why did you decide to try pole dancing?
There was a studio behind my dorm room that I had been staring at my entire Freshman year. I had been feeling so out of place in college and I thought trying something new might be fun and empowering. It was the best decision I ever made!

What do you love most about pole dancing?
I love how it makes me feel. Being with awesome, supportive people and landing tricks or spins I've worked really hard on makes the day ten times better.

Why do you love Pole Pressure?
It sounds cheesy but Pole Pressure really is like this amazing family that I got to choose. Walking in and seeing my PP Fam feels like being home.

What are some of your goals for this year?
Regain skills I feel like I've lost and improve my active flexibility (thanks Daphna!) Definitely to land my handspring and Brass Monkey!

If you could train with any of your pole idols, who would it be and why?
Jenyne Butterfly. She was one of the first professional pole dancers I ever saw in the mainstream and I've always thought she was so graceful and fun.

What motivates you to train?
Knowing that I always feel better about myself and more accomplished when I do.
