When did you start your Lyra journey?
March 2019

Why did you decide to try Lyra/Aerial Hoop?
It felt like I had tried every fitness class under the sun--yoga, kickboxing, barre, cycling--but nothing clicked for me. I tried a Pole Pressure class on ClassPass on a whim and fell in love! I didn't know it was possible to actually enjoy working out before I came here.

What do you love most about Lyra?
Lyra requires serious body strength, but also grace and flexibility--meaning I feel challenged every time I walk into Pole Pressure, but also stronger at the end of each class. I'm always learning new movements and accomplishing new goals, and learning from my instructors and classmates alike.

Why do you love Pole Pressure?
Every time I come into class, I can feel the level of support I'm getting from both the instructor and the students. The Pole Pressure community is so welcoming, and it feels amazing to not only finally nail a trick you've been working on, but also to hear your friends cheering for you when you do.

What are some of your goals for this year?
I'm hoping to improve my back flexibility, and take some more pole classes so I can learn to train on another apparatus!
