July 2020 Student of the Month: Massi

Massi July 2020 Student of the Month

When did you start your pole journey/journey with classes at Pole Pressure?
December 2018

Why did you decide to try pole dancing/classes at pole pressure?
I knew one of the teachers (Fernando) and tried his class at Pole Pressure.

What do you love most about pole dancing/classes at pole pressure?
The teachers are really good, and they always motivated me a lot. Moreover, at Pole Pressure I feel that I can totally express myself.

Why do you love Pole Pressure?
I love Pole Pressure because of the variety of the classes and how each teacher “personalizes” their classes. I wish I could be able to attend at least a class per teacher a week and so grab a bit of each one. I also loved how, during this tough period, Pole Pressure has supported its students with virtual classes and workshops. I think it was really important for us all.

What are some of your goals for this year?
Well, this year has put a brake on us all, but I hope that slowly I’ll get cleaner positions (hopefully with pointed toes, that I always forget). I’d also love to be able to do deadlifts, but I guess for that I really need an extension in 2021… Finally, I hope that next year I'll be able to compete at PSO Atlantic, so during the rest of the year I'd like to focus on creating better routines.

If you could train with any of your pole/aerial/fitness idols, who would it be and why?
I love @templodeafrodita. He is so flexible, and his routines are so smooth and incredible.

What motivates you to train?
The challenge that comes in every routine. sometimes all the poses look so natural and easy, but when you try, they are actually so hard; instead other times everything seems so impossible and then you get them…and that feels so good!
